Extra soft and extra light tote. XL Wayuu tote bag features two shoulder straps. It has a dangling hanger with pom poms. Each Susu (or Mochilon) Wayuu is handwoven by women of the indigenous wayuu tribe in La Guajira, Colombia using a single thread technique – a crochet technique passed down for centuries from generation to generation. Each of the Susus displays a unique design, representing the natural elements that surround Wayuu culture. The bottom of each Susu features an intricate symbolic style, chosen by the weaver as a means of representing her reality. It takes these women 10-15 days to complete each bag.
