Our philosophy

When you wear an artisanal piece, you are taking an intimate story with you. Mafanfa invites you to translate the magical language slowly woven into these handmade treasures and make them your own.

Mafanfa wishes to forge a bridge that connects the woman artisan with the socially conscious muse; the storyteller with the heroine of her own story - you. And in this beautiful process, we are able to make a positive impact to those who choose to wear these limited-edition treasures and those who make them.

We thrive
in bringing

The empowerment of artisan women

Maria Francia's story

Maria Francia‘s passion resides in that very special place where stories and the creative artisanal world intersect.
Inspired by the ever-present strength and creative flair of the Latina women she grew up with (as well as the ones she is raising) and the colors and richness of a region filled with artisanship, she hopes to render homage to her Latin-American culture and celebrate the cheerful and vibrant women who are not afraid to carry out their own authenticity.
She believes that our stories are worth telling and wearing them is a means of embracing our own identity.
