The dyeing technique of our kaftans and huipils is a complex alchemical process, because of the gradient it has on the fabric. The dyes come from natural pigments such as: Indigo, Marigold, Brazilwood, Eucalyptus, among others magical flowers and plants.
According to Wayuu culture, the different patterns represent different religious deities and the different geometrical shapes represent key elements in the arid peninsula of La Guajira: water, earth, air and fire.
